I have some very ripe banana left and thought I baked some banana cakes.
So I went thru some of my baking books and picked this one up. Using steam to bake, it is very easy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients
A
- 3 nos eggs
- 160g sugar
B
- 250g banana(preferably ripe)
- 1/4 tsp salt
C
- 50g milk
D
- 240g flour
- 2 tsp double action baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
E
- 90g corn oil
F
- 180g Sultanas
Method (This recipe requires a steamer and steam on high heat )
- Whip A until thick. Mash B, add it into A, whip until thick.
- Add in C, mix until well-blended.
- Add in D, mix until well-combined.
- Add in E, mix until well-incorporated.
- Add in F, mix until well-blended.
- Pour it into greased and floured cup cake mould.
- Steam for 20 minutes……Voila!
Tips:Cake will taste better by using very ripe banana.
