Korean Spicy Fried Pork

What’s happening? Ya I am cooking Korean today. You know what…I love Korean Cuisine and there’s a good one in the City where I would go at least once in two weeks. I would never miss the Fish Roe Soup each time I go there. We would order about the same dish like Spicy Stir Fry Chicken and another dish of Stir Fry Pork for sure. So frequent that I kinda remember the main ingredients in them. So today I cooked up this dish in my version as close as possible.  Oh yes, my family gave the thumbs up. Voila!

Ingredients A

  • 150g Pork loin, I use leg snitzel meat
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 1/2 green or red capsicum
  • 1/2 Zucchini

Marinate B

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil(korean)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce(korean)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Ingredients C

  • 2 tbsp red pepper paste( you can reduce if you prefer mild )
  • 2 tbsp red pepper powder( I like spicy. you can reduce if you prefer )

Ingredients D

  • some water( 120ml )
  • sesame seeds and spring onion to garnish

Method

  1. Marinate the Pork with the ingredients (B) for about 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the wok with some olive oil. Put in the meat marinate and fry at high heat for 3 minutes. Add in the onions and fry till soft.
  3. Lower heat to medium. Add in ingredients(C) and continue to fry till the meat is almost cooked.
  4. Then add the rest of the vegetables and continue to fry for further 3 minutes till the contents is well mixed and cooked through.
  5. Add in some water (D)  and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Dish out. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions. Serve with steam rice. Enjoy la!
