You may wonder ‘why Instant Noodle’ ?. Well don’t get me wrong. It is just as important meal as any other snack or delicacy. It needs Tender Loving Care too.
I know there are some Instant Noodle which don’t really have the flavour it claimed on the packet. Often we have to mix and match our sauces and really I know it is up to individual preferences. Sometimes the flavour doesn’t satisfy our palate at all. I have a suggestion and wish to share it with you. This sauce when mixed with the Instant Noodle can taste like some in the hawker food court or even better. Enjoy la!.
Ingredients
- 1 pkt 80g Instant noodle(prepare according to the instructions on the back)
- 4 or 5 Fish Balls, cooked
- 1 or 2 large cabbage leaves or bok choi, blanced(optional)
- Fried Shallots( optional )
Sauces
- 1 tbsp Sweet Black Sauce( ABC Ketchup Manis )
- 1/2 tsp Chilli oil or chili flakes (optional)
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup or Tomato Sauce(if you don’t like sourish taste)
- 100ml warm water
Method
- Prepare the noodle.
- Put all the sauce ingredients into a bowl.
- Add in the cooked noodle, Fish Balls, vegetables and shallots. Then give it a stir and toss thoroughly till the noodle is well mixed with the sauce.
- It is ready to serve. Voila!
