Ingredients
Sponge Base
- 4 eggs
- 110g castor sugar
- 110g flour (sieved)
- 1 tbsp fresh milk
- 50g melted butter
A
- 700g coconut milk
- 90g sugar
- 150g fresh milk
B (mixed together till well-dissolved)
- 1 pkt green pea powder/hoen kwe(85g)
- 150g fresh milk
- 35g instant jelly powder
- few drops of green colouring
Method
- Whisk egg and sugar with an electric mixer till light and fluffy. Fold in sieved flour and milk with a hand-held balloon whisk. Add in melted butter as you fold in.
- Pour batter into a swiss roll tray(rectangular tray). Bake in a preheated oven at 200’C for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- Heat up ingredients A over low heat. Always stir and bring it to a quick boil.
- Stir in ingredients B, stir till mixture thickens.
- Pour above hot mixture into no.2. Cool it completely before chilling. Slice chilled cake into pieces and serve. Voila!
