This is another vegetarian dish of mock chicken stir fried with some veggies.
It can be served as a one pot dish accompanied with steam rice.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of mock chicken pieces, deep fried in hot oil, removed, set aside
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup celery stems, cut into small parts
- handful of french beans, blanch in hot water till soft
- some sliced red chillies
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp chicken powder
- 150 ml water
- 1 tsp fermented soya bean paste
- some corn flour
Method
- Heat up wok, add in little oil, saute garlic, beans, celery and red chillies until fragrant.
- Add in all the seasonings and bring to boil. Return the deep fried chicken pieces. Stir well until sauce is thickened. Serve. Voila!
