Lemon Sauce On Salmon With Capers and Dill

Another Salmon dish for my family member who loves fish. It is a simple recipe simply baking it in the oven till slightly crisp and cooked with side dish, veggies(poached for healthier version).

Ingredients

  • Salmon ( 1 piece, 200gm )
  • carrots and green beans ( adequate for 1 serve )

Lemon Sauce

  • 1/2  lemon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method

  1. Add butter to the pan on medium heat and give a stir till it melt. Whisk in the flour to combine. When the flour is turning into a paste, pour in the milk, cream and continue to mix and stir till it starts to thicken.
  2. Squeeze in the lemon and bring the sauce to a quick boil and thickens.

Method

  1. Add green beans and carrots in a boiling salted water and cook till soft. Drain and set aside.
  2. Put the fish on a foil in a baking dish. Sprinkle some salt, pepper and topped with dill and capers. Set the oven temp to 180’C and bake for 10-15 minutes or till fish flakes easily with a fork. Place it on a serving dish and side with veggies.
  3. Drizzle the  lemon sauce over the fish. Serve. Voila!
