Onslow, the name speaks for itself. Everything is slow and kinda “Ghost Town”. One of our recent trips up north on the way to Karatha and Hedland, while approaching Onslow, a beautiful coastal town in the Pilbara region north of Perth, with less than 600 people, only one gas station, a supermarket, this tiny town was pretty much deserted. A very nice place to relax.
We stayed in a cabin accommodation then. And on our journey nearing this town, there were thousands termite mounds all over the places as you can see in the pictures. It is a salt mining town. We headed towards Karatha after a night s stay here.
