Got some white fish fillet dusted in cornflour seasoned with salt and pepper, shallow fry and set aside. The rest is simple preparing the sauce to go with it.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 350g white fish fillet( I use basa fillet )
- 1 stalk spring onion, sliced
- 1/2 tomato sliced
- 1/2 onion sliced
- some corn flour seasoned with salt and pepper
Seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp of cornflour
- pinch of pepper
- 2 tsp Lea & Perrins
- 2 tsp chilli sauce
- 200ml water
Method
- Dust the fish fillets with cornflour mixture. Heat a pan with some oil and shallow fry the fillets until cook on both sides. Set aside on a platter.
- Heat up the same pan with a little oil. Add in the onion and saute gently. Then add in tomato and stir fry till soft. Pour in the seasoning and stir all the ingredients together and bring to a quick boil.
- Pour the hot sauce mixture over the the fish fillets. Garnish with spring onions and serve with steam rice. Voila!
