Quick Stir Fried Garlic Chives

ImageOne of my favorite vegetables is the garlic chives with flower buds. Preferably fried with egg as omelette or on its own. It is easily cooked so a quick stir fry and hot wok is essential.

Ingredients( serves 4 )

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • a bundle of garlic chives chopped into 5cm length

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp light soya sauce
  • spinch of salt/dash of pepper

Method

  1. Heat up oil in wok, saute garlic till fragrant. Add in garlic chives and give a quick stir.
  2. Add in the seasoning and stir fry at high heat until well mixed. Drizzle with a tbsp of water, cover for a few seconds, uncover and  give a quick stir.
  3. Dish up and serve. Voila!
