One of my favorite vegetables is the garlic chives with flower buds. Preferably fried with egg as omelette or on its own. It is easily cooked so a quick stir fry and hot wok is essential.
Ingredients( serves 4 )
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- a bundle of garlic chives chopped into 5cm length
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp light soya sauce
- spinch of salt/dash of pepper
Method
- Heat up oil in wok, saute garlic till fragrant. Add in garlic chives and give a quick stir.
- Add in the seasoning and stir fry at high heat until well mixed. Drizzle with a tbsp of water, cover for a few seconds, uncover and give a quick stir.
- Dish up and serve. Voila!
