Simply Buttered And Creamed Corn Rice

It really tastes very delicious with the sweetness of the corns and fragrant coming from butter and creamed texture that I must post it and share with you. It s like a fried rice meal and can be accompanied by an omelette or fried egg, anything you can imagine to satisfy a hungry stomach.

Ingredients(serves 2)

  • 2 bowls cooled steamed rice( need not be refrigerated overnight)
  • 1 cup corns(frozen and thaw)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 tsp garlic, chopped
  • dash of salt and pepper

Method

  1. Heat oil in wok and stir fry chopped garlic until fragrant not browned. Throw in the rice and stir fry gently making sure well combined with fragrant garlic. Add in corns and butter, continue to fry the rice mixture until incorporated and then pour in the cream.
  2. Stir fry the rice mixture until cream is absorbed by the rice and turns fragrant. Salt and pepper to taste. Before serving just drizzle a few drops of olive oil(optional). Voila!
