It s a sweet dough bread with another Asian filling made up of dried shrimps, shallots, chillies and garlic. For the recipe to make the dough, please refer to “In the mood for Cupbread”. Even though I love Martha Stewart bread baking recipes very much, I am quite particular of choosing the right recipe and so far for a sweet dough bread, this is my favorite. You can use cupcake cups for the dough simply follow the method in my previous recipe. This time I just divided the dough into 13 parts small balls and lined them into a cake tin and bake.

Ingredients for Spiced Shrimp filling:

  • 150g dried shrimps
  • 70g shallots
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 5 red chilli
  • 3-5 bird s eye chilli( depends on the heat )

Seasoning

  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • adequate salt
  • 1/2 bowl cooking oil

Method

  1. Soak dried shrimps in water for 5 minutes, then blend with other ingredients in blender.
  2. Mix ingredients and seasonings together. Fry in heated oil until fragrant. It s now ready to use. Voila! Happy Days!
