Simple 90 Mins Wholemeal Bread

I have tried many recipes baking bread. And most of the time proofing takes a long long time. Until I chance upon this recipe and I have been baking this bread pretty often. It takes about 90 minutes. The bread is light and the texture is also spongy and soft.

I didn’t use any stand mixer. Instead I use my bread maker to knead the dough. Once the dough is done, I would give a few minutes knead by hand and let it rest covered with a tea towel for 15 minutes on the counter. After that, I would flatten the dough and rolled up into a log shape and put it into a bread pan to proof  for further 35-40 minutes or double in size. It’s then ready to bake in the preheated oven 190’C for 30 minutes.  Happy Days!
