
Lamb “Dum” Briyani cooked using rice cooker. Yum! Easy recipe when you simply marinate the lamb with some curry spices, cooked it and then when the basmati rice just about to cook, pour the lamb curry in. Once the rice is completely ready, give a good stir combining rice and lamb curry, and there you have it! Happy Days!
Marinades: 500 g Lamb, 1 cup yogurt, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 2 tbs chilli powder, 1 chopped tomatoes, 2 tbs ginger garlic paste, salt to taste, 1 large onion(fried) some water. Leave aside an hour/overnight. I have tried with chicken meat and it taste yummy.
Rice: Saute lightly 2 green cardamon, 1 inch cinnamon, 4 pepper corns 4 cloves add to 2 cups basmati rice(according to rice cooker instructions) some salt to taste and cooked almost rice steaming stage, add the cooked lamb curry(prepared advance) Make sure not to pour too much liquid into the rice to avoid whole dish being soggy.
