We had a feast of celebration, joy and also sadness.
There s a feeling somewhere in my heart that makes me to pen down this page.
The joy of having cherished the moments when we worked together as a team, least seen each other, say Hi Byes in the same facility and sometimes we flourished into friendships too.
Sadness that four of my fellow colleagues are leaving our team and the facility.
I am going to miss Beryl’s laughter for sure, Verna’s pretty face and Xavier s jokes.
And I kept forgetting to let Daniel knows that my son went to the same college as him. Haha!
We celebrated them for their success of moving to a better place and future.
So we had a potluck party each bringing a plate of food to feast together. I prepared ‘dum briyani’ and some honey wing dings. We became the ‘homemade chefs’ with deliciously prepared butter chicken curry, white/yellow rice, bbq lamb ribs, noodles, plenty of finger food like samosas, quiches, beef puffs and desserts. Thanks to Anna for the colourful food presentation. They all tasted YUMMY! Happy Days!
