Lovely Chicken Pot Pies

This Christmas I baked these lovely Hong Kong style chicken pot pies. They are very easy to bake and yummy!

First prepare the simple fillings made up of chicken breast, chopped onions, button mushrooms and some peas. Single cream, worcestershire sauce and some seasonings added. Cornstarch is also mixed in to thicken the sauce.

The rest is makings of the shortcrust pastry using flour, icing sugar, butter, egg and some water to form a dough. It is rested in the fridge for a good half hour and then all ready to go! Easy! Happy Days!!
