Colorful BurBur Cha Cha

Made this very easy to prepare delicious dessert called Bur Bur Cha Cha using ingredients like sweet potato, yam, coconut milk , rock sugar, salt, sago pearls and tapioca flour. Pandan leaves is also used to fragrant the dish.

Those colorful bits on the left(picture) are made of tapioca flour.

Briefly, yam and sweet potato are cut into cubes or bite sizes and steam until soft. The colorful bits and sago pearls are cooked in a boiling water until they turned translucent.

Bring adequate water to the boil, add in rock sugar and pandan leaves. Once the sugar has dissolved, add in coconut milk and simmer under low heat.

Finally, add in the steamed yam and sweet potato, sago and tapioca pearls together with a pinch of salt. This colorful dessert can be served either hot or cold. Happy Days!!
